Quizno's

I happen to really like Quiznos subs. Great food, good price, simply yummy.

But the new Quiznos aborted rat fetus subs are just wrong. Disturbing, ugly, nasty, wrong. While the theory that a memorable ad, even one with a negative response, is supposed to be better than a positive ad that doesn't reinforce name recognition, this series of ads disproves that thought.

The ad, with it's ear-offending singing and disgusting side-kicks, makes me think only of vermin. In no way does vermin make me want to go and pay money for food. In fact, these ads kill my appetite. Make the vermin go away, damnit.

This got passed around quite a bit a year or so ago. I guess it's one of those things you either find funny or you don't. I always kind of liked it.

I really think they look more like hamster abortions, or possibly midget chinchilla corpses. Whatever they are, they are hideous. Damn, and I used to really like their veggie sub.

i think that the sponge monkeys are SSOOOOOO FUNNY! i mean, i guess it's not the most appatizing thing, but that doesn't mean that their food is bad or anything. and to be perfectly honest, i always liked subway better, they have more choices. so what does it matter how they choose to make their adds!?! it's funny as opposed to all of the retarted ass crap they have on now!!!

These commercials are so incredibly funny, and I think anyone who disagrees is being ridiculous. It's just a commercial. They're singing a funny song. WTF?! IT'S FUNNY!!!! That's all there needs to be to it, right? I mean, they're funny lookin', and they make me laugh like a motherf***er, which I am, by the way, heh, heh. Giggity, giggity, aaall riiight....word?

I loove these things! Before that commercial came out, I didn't like quizno's!

So were they originally in "We Love the Moon" and Quizno's took it? Or were they in quizno's first? or eh?

The "sponge Monkeys" have done what 5 years of normal advertising could not. The moment the the first Quizno's ad featuring dead rats aired, Millions of people stared at their T.V.'s & couldn't stop watching until well after the ad was over. Still to this day I hear children singing about Quizno's "pepper bar" & "dollar off cupons" so for any reactions good bad or otherwise, it spurred you into creating this forum to discuss them. Bravo to the marketing & research folks at Quiznos for getting everyones attention. Bravo to the Sponge Monkeys (P.S. I think they're hilarious)
